I'll take my chair to go, please

I need my own spot in my apartment so I can furnish it with eclectic things. Tom is into modern and I'm into antique with a twist of contemporary. I like to see things from the past meet with new things. I want my apartment to tell a story about who I am and what I like. So far our apartment is a mix of things-our living room is very Tom and our bedroom is very me. Although, at the end of the day Tom has a larger say as to what I bring into the apartment. Little does he know, when we move into a larger space, we will have to compromise. I'm letting him have his fun since this is his first apartment. Next time, it will be our say.

This chair is so me. Do you think he'll notice if I bring it into the apt?
